As the official photographer of m/s Paul Gauguin, I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to capture this rare event as it unfolded in the Pacific ocean. I was tasked to photograph the ship with the solar eclipse in the background -- it was a very challenging mission because I have to take the photos riding a small rescue boat in the middle of the Pacific ocean big with swells and two big cameras around my neck. I just have to say I got lucky to get some great shots and just to be on the boat with the full view of the sea, the sun, and the moon before me. The experience was AMAZING.
